Rodney Grieve – Founding Partner
Rodney is a founding partner in BRANTA Worldwide. He has nearly 20 years of industry and consulting experience helping organizations, teams and individuals create a culture of success. A nationally known speaker on safety leadership, co-author of SOAR: A Gate-to-Gate Journey of Leadership Essentials and author of the best selling Defend Your Profits: Safety Tools for Bottom Line Improvements, he has presented keynote speeches and leadership development coaching and facilitation for companies in the high-tech, bio-tech, pharmaceutical, food, heavy manufacturing, construction, refining, paper, pulp, timber, plastics, aerospace, and waste industries.  With Branta Worldwide, he designs and initiates customized leadership and communications programs as well as environmental health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs.  Rodney has worked with front-line supervisors all the way to senior executives throughout North America as well as with groups in Japan, Taiwan, and Korea.

His more than 10 years in the hazardous waste and industrial services sector was in project management positions. Prior to starting BRANTA in 2000, Rodney was the Western Regional Director of Safety for Philip Services Corp., a multi-national industrial services and hazardous waste company. With no direct reports, Mr. Grieve was responsible for the safety, health, and well being of over 1,200 employees in nine states and two provinces. By teaching leadership and communication skills to his front-line supervisors, Rodney’s efforts led the Western Region to a 36% reduction in total incidents and a whopping 93% reduction in annual safety-related liability costs.

Rodney possesses a Master Degree in Environmental Policy and Management from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Sciences Degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He is a Professional Member of the National Speakers Association and formerly a Certified Instructor for the Dale Carnegie Organization.

Rodney lives with his wife Darcy and their two children in Sacramento, California.  When not on the road, he enjoys running, gardening, coaching soccer, and floating in the pool doing a crossword puzzle.

 


Robert GreenwoodRobert Greenwood – Founding Partner
Robert Greenwood is a founding partner of BRANTA Worldwide. He has 30 years of experience in building, growing, and innovating with organizations, teams and individuals.

Rob began his consulting career in 1993 when he joined The Atlanta Consulting Group. His clients ranged from high tech to biotech, manufacturing to information management, financial services to retail grocery. As a result of this broad based experience, he is responsive to the specific needs of any business and equally comfortable in the boardroom, the computer room and “out on the floor.” He has worked on a variety of strategic initiatives with particular emphasis on Leadership Development. Rob’s clients include senior executives, leadership teams and individual contributors in 25 countries throughout North America, Central America and Europe as well as Brazil, China, Singapore and Australia. He has been fortunate to work with several clients across their global footprints.

Prior to 1993 his fifteen years of experience in industry included management positions in Strategic Quality, Operations Management, Technical Project Management, and Human Resources in high-tech and manufacturing environments. As the Southeast Region Operations Manager for a telecommunications systems provider, Rob spearheaded a process-improvement team that reduced parts inventory by 30% while significantly reducing response time and increasing customer satisfaction. During his service as the Strategic Coordinator of that organization’s Service/Quality Initiative, the organization advanced to a position of industry leadership in customer satisfaction. Rob was responsible for project management, design and implementation of organization-wide process improvement and employee development activities including training delivery and process-improvement team facilitation.

Rob received his Bachelor degree from Denison University and completed Master’s classes at the University of Wisconsin.

An Ohio native, Rob and his wife Marci live in rural Cherokee County north of Atlanta, Georgia. They plan to keep their property while enjoying domestic and international travel. Married more than 30 years, they have been enjoying an “empty nest”. Their only daughter, Caitlin, is a Florida State University alumnus and attended the University of Melbourne (Australia). Caitlin has started the next exciting personal and professional chapter of her life.

Sherry Shaver – Strategic Partner
Sherry Shaver is a Strategic Partner with BRANTA Worldwide providing specialized expertise in leadership development, coaching, and team effectiveness competencies. She has worked with professionals at all levels, from senior executives to individual contributors. Sherry is a results-oriented facilitator and coach with a talent for motivating clients to achieve both personal and organizational objectives. She has significant cross-industry experience in both the project management and delivery of learning programs. Client industries have included broadcast news and entertainment, telecommunications, medical products, technology, financial services and electronics.

In Sherry’s prior 18 years of human resources experience, she worked in a variety of industries including software development, banking, health care, telecommunications and manufacturing. She has managed major Human Resource Development divisions as well as provided consultative services during mergers and acquisitions. She has an extensive background in HRD program design and implementation and has played key roles in start-up, turn-around and downsizing situations. Sherry has developed and delivered a wide variety of learning programs including Career Development and Assessment, Talent Management, Leadership Development, and Change Management.

Sherry received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science in Management with a specialization in Human Resources & Organizational Behavior from Georgia State University. She has continued her professional development through certifications in a variety of 360 degree feedback tools, career assessments and training programs. Sherry is a member of the Association of Career Professionals International and the Society of Human Resource Management.
